The Greek God(zilla)’s sister, BB, arrived in Crete on Sunday morning with her boyfriend, Rob.
I have met Rob once before, at Greek Easter and was intrigued to find out more about his intentions towards my sister-in-law him.
We discovered over pina coladas, Mythos & 4 bottles of red wine a quiet drink, that he runs his own business, has written a book and flies planes in his spare time… I know, you’re thinking what a loser, right?
Don’t worry, he also LOVES karaoke.
AND, is good with 2-year olds…
So much so, that Zachy has taken to asking for ‘Big Rob’ to take him into the sea, ‘Big Rob’ to take him for a walk, ‘Big Rob’ to read his Igglepiggle book to him. Over and Over. And over again.
The Greek God(zilla) and I have never taken it so easy!
I even went so far as to declare Rob this year’s Babs (sorry Babs).
But then, over a pre-lunch beer and quick fire round of Trivial Pursuit at the Tropical taverna, BB presented Rob with the following question:
What did lottery winner Sheryl Carthew say she’d spend her winnings on to give her a bigger future?
Not wanting to admit defeat immediately but obviously not knowing the answer, Rob ummed and arred for a while before BB offered him one clue:
‘It’s something I definitely don’t need’ she winked
To which Rob bellowed clearly and confidently ‘FOOD!’
Much laughter ensued. Proper shoulder shaking, belly aching laughs.
Babs would have definitely said boobs (which is the right answer by the way).
AHHH Mythos! I sometimes come home from Tesco with a couple of bottles and it never tastes the same.
Sounds like you’re having a fabulous time xx

You just can’t get it cold enough over here, it never tastes as good unless it is a scorching hot day and the beer is ice ice cold.
Home now, back to work (blog)
xx
Oh dear, classic example of one word ruining a man forever!!! Maybe you all misheard him, maybe he’s not been around women for a while…… or maybe he’s just a typical bloke after all! 🙂
Happy hols to you all! Nat

BB took it so well, just laughed hysterically. Too funny though. Home now, already feels like ages ago 🙂
