Love you Forever

Love you Forever

The brief was simple.

30 bloggers were asked to take over Cafe Bebe for 30 days in March, and share what it is they love most about their children to feature in a special Love you Forever project.

Each post was to be a love letter of sorts from Mother to child.

Sound easy?

Well, not so much.

I know I love my son because I feel it.  I feel it every time I am with him, every time I am away from him, and all the times in between.  It has no beginning and no end and is completely and utterly unconditional.

But that is only 46 words and Karin at Cafe Bebe was expecting me to pen around 500…

The other slight problem was that when I started to think about how much I love Zachy, I started to cry like a big baby.

My first draft read like it should be whisphered breathlessly from my deathbed.

The second was trying too hard to be funny.  ‘I don’t get it, love’ said the Greek God(zilla).

Finally, I settled on something true and from the heart.  I called it Me before You and you can read it here.
