movers are here, should I be helping…?
“it is not possible to take the sofa out” they are telling me… well lads, we got it in there somehow!!
I have helpfully suggested they take off the door
It’s no wonder I only have 98 followers.
Angie arrived looking fabulous in a moving day themed outfit so we went ahead to the new house to make ourselves useful. There was also a kettle there.
It was a long afternoon of deliveries, moody delivery men (Currys), cheery gas men (British Gas) and a very happy Zachy when he spotted his moving in present all set up for him when he got home from nursery, it’s all about priorities…
Zachy also seasoned his soft toy monkey with pretend salt & pepper before roasting it in the oven at 180 degrees, but I decided against posting these images as they may be too upsetting for some viewers.
Our new neighbours popped in to say hello, YiaYia popped over with roast pork, roast potatoes, a house plant, grapes & 4 dishcloths and my dad popped round with his tools. With a bit of help from my brother, Sam, Dad constructed clothes rails, hung pictures and plumbed in our appliances….. Grrrrrr Currys. We’ll be asking for a refund on the installation costs thank you very much!
As my very clever sister said as we split a Dairy Milk and a mint Aero on the sofa, you don’t get a dog and bark yourself, do you?!
I’m partial to a mint aero. They don’t sell them in Oz! xx

I also am loving Caramel chunky kitkats – see if you can get your hands on one of those bad boys, you won’t regret it!
So glad the move went well!! And no you’re not supposed to help the men who are helping you to move! That’s what they’re paid for – you did the right thing by hiding in the kitchen! xxx
Darling, how will my bedroom be decorated???? I hope its a sailors theme.
