Look at that handsome fellow on the left.
Look at his smiley face and his rosy red cheeks.
And, look at the Greek God(zilla) standing proudly next to him.
This was the snowman that he built with Zachy last year and I think for his first ever attempt, it was a pretty good effort.
Zachy named his snowman Ben after Ben Elf, his favourite TV character at the time.
When the snow melted, sadly so did Ben, but we promised Zachy that as soon as it snowed again, we would build him another one.
The snow ‘storm’ this weekend, presented the perfect opportunity.
So, while I went off to have the colour restored to my hair , I left the Greek God(zilla) to play in the snow with Zachy and build another ‘Ben’. Although this year he has been renamed Chick Hicks, from the Disney Cars film.
When I returned home a couple of hours later, with a shiny new do minus even a glimmer of grey, I skipped excitedly to the garden to check out Chick Hicks.
Has he been on the Atkins? I asked.
Where were his red rosy cheeks, his big beaming smile?
Chick Hicks had obviously taken January detox a step too far.
When I went out to check on him again this morning, this is what I found waiting for me.
Poor Chick Hicks looks like he is literally about to topple over from starvation.
Please, someone feed that man some snow!

That poor snow man, I mean chick hicks (see the cars obsession is taking full swing now) – just look at the expression on her face! That really brightened up my Sunday evening! X.
